자크 필리프 마리 비네(Jacques Philippe Marie Binet)는 프랑스의 수학자, 물리학자 및 천문학자이다.

비네의 공식은 [math( n )]번째 피보나치 수 [math( F_n )]을 구할 수 있는 공식이다.
황금비 [math( displaystyle phi = frac{1+sqrt{5}}{2} )]라고 하면,

[math( displaystyle F_n = frac{ phi^n - phi^{-n} }{sqrt{5}} )]

사실 이 공식은 드 무아브르가 먼저 발견했는데 비네의 이름이 붙었다고 한다...

이체 문제에서, 물체의 극좌표 궤도 [math( r(theta) )]로부터 중심력 [math( F(r) )]를 찾을 수 있는 방정식이다.
