GLEEZ는 'Ghosts Living in an Empty Earth(GLEE)'와 Z의 [[합성어]]로서, 텅 빈 지구 안에 사는 귀신들을 뜻한다.

== 세계관 ==
[[GHOST9]]은 지구의 속이 비어 있고, 양극인 북극과 남극에 비어 있는 속으로 들어갈 수 있는 입구가 있다고 하는 '[[지구공동설]]'의 스토리를 기반으로 방대한 [[세계관]]을 담았다.
